Karate Lincolnshire is proud to be a part of the South Holland District Council “SHout and About” initiative in which teams partake in different activities and earn points for doing so. The team with the most points wins vouchers to the value of £200. The event started on 9th April 2018 and runs for 12 weeks. The SHout and about project is aimed at promoting health, fitness and wellbeing for families and individuals of all ages.

You can earn extra points for your team by staying on and attending more lessons for a minimum of two weeks under your own initiative.
The best thing about Martial Art training is that you can ease into it gradually at your own pace, making it sustainable. It’s a great way to challenge yourself in a way that is “S.M.A.R.T.” (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time Bound). Martial Arts training is one of few activities that works all of the major muscle groups (legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms). Fun kickboxing drills provide an aerobic workout to increase lung capacity and burn fat. With support and tuition from experienced instructors you are much more likely to see the benefits.
